Dear NYSPHA member, The state legislature and the governor are in the process of negotiating the final state budget to be enacted by April 1. There are a number of important public health issues at play. This is an important time for legislators to hear from you, their constituents. Please take a few minutes to utilize the NYSPHA advocacy tool to send a message to your state senator and assembly member. The tool will send an email to each through your default email program. Feel free to customize the letters in your default email before sending. You can add information about your areas of expertise on public health or other budgetary issues that you think are important.
